dssp software package provides protein secondary structure assignment based on 3D structure, you can install in your Ubuntu 17.04 (Zesty Zapus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install dssp
dssp is installed in your system.
Make ensure the dssp package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dssp *
You will get with dssp package name, version, architecture and description in a table
